What we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and optionally a Google profile picture when you sign up via Google OAuth.
- Session content: the topics and discussion content you create during sessions, stored to allow you to review past sessions.
- Usage data: session counts, credit balance, and timestamps - used to operate the credit system.
- Payment data: if you purchase credits, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or full payment details.
How we use your information
- To provide and operate the Decideria service.
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts).
- To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
- We do not use your session content to train AI models.
Third-party services
- Anthropic: session discussions are processed via the Anthropic API. Content is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
- Google OAuth: if you sign in with Google, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe: payment processing, subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Meta: only if you accept advertising cookies, as described under Cookies and advertising below. Subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
Data retention
We retain your account and session data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us.
Your rights (Australian Privacy Act 1988)
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at zakariacheurfi@gmail.com.
Cookies and advertising
Strictly necessary. We use localStorage, not cookies, to hold your authentication token on your device. This is what keeps you signed in, so it cannot be turned off while you are using the service.
Advertising, only if you agree. We may run the Meta Pixel to measure which advertisements bring people to Decideria. The pixel sets cookies and sends information about your visit to Meta, which processes it in the United States. It is not loaded unless you have accepted it: if you decline, or have not been asked, the script is never added to the page and no request reaches Meta.
Where the pixel is active you will be asked before it loads, and you can change your answer at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site. We use no other analytics or tracking tools, and no session recording.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
